The Centre for Design, Innovation & Engineering (CDIE) at Kenyatta University is a cutting-edge innovation hub dedicated to the design, engineering and prototyping of medical devices.
As a vital part of the Invention Education Program, our mission is to bridge the gap between healthcare challenges and practical solutions by fostering a dynamic environment for creativity, research and hands-on development.
Equipped with state-of-the-art tools and advance prototyping technologies, our studio empowers innovators to design and test life-saving medical devices. We support the students of the Medical Device Innovation Master’s Program in translating innovative ideas into tangible solutions that enhance patient care and improve healthcare outcomes.
